Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
The provisions of this Act come into effect on the dates specified in the following items, according to the categories set forth in those items:
この法律の規定は、次の各号に掲げる区分に従い、それぞれ当該各号に定める日から施行する。
the provisions of Articles 3 and 5, the provisions in Article 8 adding one Article after Article 29 of the Child Allowance Act, and the provisions of Article 13 of the Supplementary Provisions: the date of promulgation;
第三条及び第五条の規定並びに第八条中児童手当法第二十九条の次に一条を加える改正規定並びに附則第十三条の規定 公布の日

第五条（厚生年金保険法の一部改正に伴う経過措置）
With regard to the amount to be added pursuant to the provisions of Article 62-2 of the Employees' Pension Insurance Act for months on or before May 1978, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
昭和五十三年五月以前の月分の厚生年金保険法第六十二条の二の規定により加算する額については、なお従前の例による。
