Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date

一The provisions revising Article 2, paragraph (28) of the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act in Article 1 (limited to the part replacing ", derivatives transactions, and other" with "or derivatives transactions (excluding transactions specified by Cabinet Order as being found, in consideration of the transaction volume and other conditions of the transactions and their impact on Japan's capital market and other circumstances, not to cause any impediment to the public interest or investor protection), or as transactions incidental or related to these"), and the provisions revising Article 205-2-3, item (ix) of that Act, the provisions of Article 4, the provisions revising Article 49, paragraph (1) and paragraph (2) of the Trust Business Act in Article 5, and the provisions of Articles 13 and 14 of the Supplementary Provisions: the date of promulgation

二The provisions revising Article 194-7, paragraph (7) and Article 207, paragraph (1), item (iii) of the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act in Article 1: the day on which 20 days have elapsed from the date of promulgation

三The provisions of Article 3 and Article 5 of the Supplementary Provisions: the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding two years from the date of promulgation

四The provisions of Article 2, the provisions revising row 3 of Appended Table 1 of the Residential Basic Book Act (Act No. 81 of 1967) in Article 10 of the Supplementary Provisions (limited to the part replacing "or the notification under Article 156-28, paragraph (3) of that Act" with ", the notification under Article 156-28, paragraph (3) of that Act, the designation under Article 156-67, paragraph (1) of that Act, or the notification under Article 156-77, paragraph (1) of that Act"), and the provisions of Article 12 of the Supplementary Provisions: the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding two years and six months from the date of promulgation
