Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date

This Act comes into effect as of the day specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding six months from the date of promulgation; provided, however, that the provisions amending Article 52, the provisions in Article 16 of the Supplementary Provisions amending Article 18-2 of the Securities Investment Trust Act (Act No. 198 of 1951), and the provisions in Article 18 of the Supplementary Provisions amending Article 19, paragraph (1) of the Act on Foreign Securities Firms (Act No. 5 of 1971) come into effect on April 1, 1989, and the provisions adding two Articles after Article 190, the provisions amending Article 200, item (iv), and the provisions of Article 12 of the Supplementary Provisions come into effect on the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding one year from the date of promulgation.
