Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect as of the day specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding one year from the date of promulgation; provided, however, that the provisions set forth in the following items come into effect as of the days specified in those items.
この法律は、公布の日から起算して一年を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日から施行する。ただし、次の各号に掲げる規定は、当該各号に定める日から施行する。
Article 1 and Articles 6, 11 and 15 of the Supplementary Provisions: the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding six months from the date of promulgation;
第一条並びに附則第六条、第十一条及び第十五条の規定 公布の日から起算して六月を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日
Article 3, and Article 4, Article 12 (limited to the provision amending Article 7, paragraph (1), item (ii) of the Act on Special Measures concerning Prevention of Traffic Accident Caused by Large-Sized Automobiles Carrying Earth, Sand and Others (Act No. 131 of 1967) (limited to the part replacing "Article 118, paragraph (1), item (iii)" with "Article 118, paragraph (1), item (v)")) and Article 14 of the Supplementary Provisions: the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding two years from the date of promulgation;
第三条並びに附則第四条、第十二条（土砂等を運搬する大型自動車による交通事故の防止等に関する特別措置法（昭和四十二年法律第百三十一号）第七条第一項第二号の改正規定（「第百十八条第一項第三号」を「第百十八条第一項第五号」に改める部分に限る。）に限る。）及び第十四条の規定 公布の日から起算して二年を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日
Article 4, and Articles 5, 10 and 13 of the Supplementary Provisions: the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding three years from the date of promulgation.
