This Act comes into effect on the date of promulgation.
この法律は、公布の日から施行する。

第二条（経過措置）
With regard to the period of prescription of a sentence that became final and binding before this Act comes into effect, the provisions then in force continue to govern, notwithstanding the provisions of Articles 31 and 32 and paragraph (1) of Article 34 of the Penal Code as amended by Article 1.
