Article 81Instigation of Foreign Aggression
第八十一条（外患誘致）
A person who conspires with a foreign state and thereby causes the state to exercise armed force against Japan is punished by the death penalty.
外国と通謀して日本国に対し武力を行使させた者は、死刑に処する。
Article 82Assistance to the Enemy
第八十二条（外患援助）
When a foreign state takes military action against Japan, a person who sides with the foreign state by providing military service to such state, or otherwise gives military advantage to such state, is sentenced to the death penalty or imprisonment either for life or for a definite term of 2 years or more.
日本国に対して外国から武力の行使があったときに、これに加担して、その軍務に服し、その他これに軍事上の利益を与えた者は、死刑又は無期若しくは二年以上の拘禁刑に処する。

第八十七条（未遂罪）
Any attempt to commit the crimes prescribed under Articles 81 and 82 is punished.
第八十八条（予備及び陰謀）
A person who prepares for or plots any of the crimes prescribed under Articles 81 and 82 is punished by imprisonment for 1 year or more and 10 years or less.
