第一条（施行期日）
Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
This Act comes into effect as of the date on which one year has elapsed from the date of promulgation; provided, however, that the provisions set out in the following items come into effect as of the respective dates set out in those items:
この法律は、公布の日から起算して一年を経過した日から施行する。ただし、次の各号に掲げる規定は、当該各号に掲げる日から施行する。
The provisions in Article 1 that add two Articles after Article 7 of the Food Sanitation Act (limited to the part adding Article 7-2), the provisions amending Article 31, item (iii) of that Act, and the following Article and Article 8 of the Supplementary Provisions: the date of promulgation;
The provisions in Article 1 that amend Article 21 of the Food Sanitation Act, the provisions adding one Article after Article 21 of that Act, the provisions amending Article 22 of that Act, the provisions amending Article 23 of that Act (excluding the part replacing "or paragraph (2), Article 15, paragraph (3)" with ", Article 15, paragraph (4)"), and Article 5 of the Supplementary Provisions: the date on which six months have elapsed from the date of promulgation;
第一条中食品衛生法第二十一条の改正規定、同法第二十一条の次に一条を加える改正規定、同法第二十二条の改正規定、同法第二十三条の改正規定（「若しくは第二項、第十五条第三項」を「、第十五条第四項」に改める部分を除く。）及び附則第五条の規定 公布の日から起算して六月を経過した日
The provisions in Article 1 that amend Article 2 of the Food Sanitation Act (excluding the provisions amending paragraph (3) of that Article), the provisions amending Articles 5, 14 and 15 of that Act, the provisions adding one Article after Article 16 of that Act, the provisions amending Articles 18, 19-2 and 19-3 of that Act, the provisions amending Article 19-4 of that Act (limited to the part amending the portion other than the portion listing the items), the provisions amending Articles 19-5, 19-13 and 19-15 of that Act, the provisions amending Article 23 of that Act (limited to the part replacing "or paragraph (2), Article 15, paragraph (3)" with ", Article 15, paragraph (4)"), and the provisions amending Article 31 of that Act (excluding the provisions amending item (iii) of that Article): the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding nine months from the date of promulgation.
