第六条
A former association that has obtained authorization under Article 4, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions and that, as provided by its rules, keeps a register, registers the classes and issues of securities, and conducts the business of publicizing the prices of purchase and sale of those securities may, before the effective date, make necessary changes to those rules and obtain the authorization of the Minister of Finance, in the same manner as under the provisions of Article 76 of the New Securities and Exchange Act.
The rules authorized pursuant to the provisions of the preceding paragraph are deemed to be rules authorized pursuant to the provisions of Article 76 of the New Securities and Exchange Act; the register referred to in that paragraph pertaining to the business referred to in that paragraph that the former association conducts as provided by those rules is deemed to be the over-the-counter traded securities register prescribed in Article 75 of the New Securities and Exchange Act; securities whose class and issue are, at the time this Act comes into effect, actually registered in that register are deemed to be over-the-counter traded securities prescribed in Article 76 of the New Securities and Exchange Act; and the registration of the class and issue of those securities in that register is deemed to have been made on the effective date, pursuant to the provisions of Article 75, paragraph (1) of the New Securities and Exchange Act, by the former association that is to continue to exist as a securities dealers association under the provisions of the New Securities and Exchange Act pursuant to the provisions of Article 4, paragraph (2) of the Supplementary Provisions.

この法律の公布の際旧証券取引法第六十七条第一項の規定により登録を受けている証券業協会（以下「旧協会」という。）は、施行日前においても、新証券取引法第七十四条の規定の例により、定款を変更し、大蔵大臣の認可を受けることができる。

「有価証券」
Securities as this Act defines them: the instruments listed in Article 2, paragraph (1), among them national government and local government bonds, corporate bonds, share certificates and share option certificates, preferred equity investment certificates, beneficiary certificates of investment trusts and other trusts, investment securities, certain promissory notes, mortgage securities, option certificates and depositary receipts, foreign instruments of the same nature, and other instruments a Cabinet Order (政令) specifies.
