If a financial instruments business operator fails to pay the burden charges by the due date for payment specified by the operational rules, they must pay a delinquency charge to the fund to which it belongs.
The amount of a delinquency charge is calculated by multiplying the amount of unpaid burden charges by an annual rate of 14.5 percent, based on the number of days from the day following the due date for payment until the day of payment.
