Supplementary Provisions
附 則
This Act comes into effect as of the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding 2 years from the date of promulgation; provided, however, that the provisions set forth in the following items come into effect as of the dates specified respectively in those items.
この法律は、公布の日から起算して二年を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日から施行する。ただし、次の各号に掲げる規定は、当該各号に定める日から施行する。
the provisions of paragraph (3) of the Supplementary Provisions: the date of promulgation;

the provisions amending Article 2, paragraph (1), the provisions amending Article 71, item (v)-5, the provisions amending Article 117-2-2, paragraph (1), item (iii), the provisions amending Article 117-3-2, and the provisions amending Article 118, paragraph (1), item (iv): the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding six months from the date of promulgation.
第二条第一項の改正規定、第七十一条第五号の五の改正規定、第百十七条の二の二第一項第三号の改正規定、第百十七条の三の二の改正規定及び第百十八条第一項第四号の改正規定 公布の日から起算して六月を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日
The provisions then in force continue to govern the handling of violations committed before this Act comes into force.
この法律の施行前にした行為に対する反則行為の取扱いに関しては、なお従前の例による。
Beyond what is provided for in the preceding paragraph, transitional measures necessary for the enforcement of this Act (including transitional measures concerning penal provisions) are specified by Cabinet Order.
前項に定めるもののほか、この法律の施行に関し必要な経過措置（罰則に関する経過措置を含む。）は、政令で定める。
