①An owner of a motor vehicle under temporary cancellation of registration must, in the case of making the notification under Article 16, paragraph (4) of the New Road Transport Vehicle Act on or after the Partial Effective Date, return the certificate of temporary cancellation of registration relating to that motor vehicle under temporary cancellation of registration to the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.

②When the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism has recorded that fact in the motor vehicle registration file pursuant to Article 16, paragraph (7) of the New Road Transport Vehicle Act with regard to a motor vehicle under temporary cancellation of registration for which the notification under the preceding paragraph has been made, the Minister is to notify the owner of that motor vehicle under temporary cancellation of registration of the registration identification information.
