Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect on October 1, 1962; provided, however, that the provisions of Article 1 amending Articles 76, 98 and 106 of the Road Transport Vehicle Act, adding Article 106-2 to that Act, and amending Article 109, item (i) of that Act, the provision of Article 2 adding Article 20-2 to the Act on Securing Compensation for Automobile Accidents, and the provisions of Article 3 of the Supplementary Provisions come into effect on August 1, 1962.
この法律は、昭和三十七年十月一日から施行する。ただし、第一条の規定中道路運送車両法第七十六条、第九十八条及び第百六条の改正規定、同法に第百六条の二を加える改正規定並びに同法第百九条第一号の改正規定、第二条の規定中自動車損害賠償保障法に第二十条の二を加える改正規定並びに附則第三条の規定は、昭和三十七年八月一日から施行する。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 3Transitional Measures Accompanying the Amendment of the Road Transport Vehicle Act
第三条（道路運送車両法の改正に伴う経過措置）
The Director of a Land Transport Bureau (including a prefectural governor who has been delegated matters falling within the authority of the Director of a Land Transport Bureau prescribed in Chapter V of the Road Transport Vehicle Act by the provisions of a Cabinet Order based on Article 105, paragraph (2) of that Act) must deliver an inspection mark to the user of a motor vehicle set forth in each of the following items, as provided by Order of the Ministry of Transport:
陸運局長（道路運送車両法第百五条第二項の規定に基づく政令の規定により同法第五章に規定する陸運局長の権限に属する事項の委任を受けた都道府県知事を含む。）は、運輸省令で定めるところにより、次の各号に掲げる自動車の使用者に対して検査標章を交付しなければならない。
a motor vehicle for which a motor vehicle inspection certificate is issued, or the validity period of the certificate is renewed, during the period from the date on which the provisions of this Article come into effect until September 30, 1962;
この条の規定の施行の日から昭和三十七年九月三十日までの間において自動車検査証の交付又はその有効期間の更新を受ける自動車
a motor vehicle for which a valid motor vehicle inspection certificate has been issued at the time the provisions of this Article come into effect (excluding a motor vehicle prescribed in paragraph (2), item (i) of the preceding Article and a motor vehicle for which an inspection mark has already been delivered).
この条の規定の施行の際現に有効な自動車検査証の交付を受けている自動車（前条第二項第一号に規定する自動車及びすでに検査標章の交付を受けた自動車を除く。）
The inspection mark under the preceding paragraph and its delivery are to be governed by the provisions of Article 66, paragraphs (3) and (4) of the Road Transport Vehicle Act after the amendment and Article 9, paragraph (2) of the Act on Securing Compensation for Automobile Accidents after the amendment.
前項の検査標章及びその交付については、改正後の道路運送車両法第六十六条第三項及び第四項並びに改正後の自動車損害賠償保障法第九条第二項の規定の例によるものとする。
