第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect as of the date on which the Act on Access to Information Held by Administrative Organs (Act No. 42 of 1999; hereinafter referred to as the "Information Disclosure Act") comes into effect.
この法律は、行政機関の保有する情報の公開に関する法律（平成十一年法律第四十二号。以下「情報公開法」という。）の施行の日から施行する。
