第二条（経過措置）
If a person who, before the enforcement of this Act, delivered a certificate of transfer to the transferee of a motor vehicle (excluding those specified by an Order of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism) pursuant to the provisions of Article 33, paragraph (1) of the Road Transport Vehicle Act prior to amendment by the provisions of Article 1 (hereinafter referred to as the "Former Road Transport Vehicle Act") has, as provided by Cabinet Order, with the consent of the transferee of that motor vehicle regarding the application under Article 7, paragraph (1) of the Road Transport Vehicle Act as amended by the provisions of Article 1 (hereinafter referred to as the "New Road Transport Vehicle Act"), provided the matters stated in that certificate of transfer to a registered information processing body by electronic or magnetic means, the provision of the matters prescribed in Article 33, paragraph (4) of the New Road Transport Vehicle Act is deemed to have been made pursuant to the provisions of that paragraph.
In the case referred to in the preceding paragraph, the transferee of the motor vehicle must return that certificate of transfer to the person who delivered it.
