Supplementary Provisions, Article 13

第十三条

Notwithstanding Article 96-2 and Article 97, paragraph (2) of the New Act, prior laws continue to govern a person filing an application for an L-MVL as referred to in the Former Act which is deemed, pursuant to Article 7 of the Supplementary Provisions, to be an application for an L-MVL.

附則第七条の規定により大型免許の申請とみなされる旧法大型免許の申請をしている者については、新法第九十六条の二及び第九十七条第二項の規定にかかわらず、なお従前の例による。

The large motor vehicle license (大型自動車免許) of Article 84, paragraph (3) of the Road Traffic Act as amended by Article 4 of Act No. 90 of 2004, as Article 6, paragraph (1) of that Act's supplementary provisions (附則) names it in saying which license held under the earlier wording is deemed to be which license under the new one; a large motor vehicle license held under the earlier wording is deemed to be this one.
