Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Cabinet Order comes into effect on the date of enforcement of the provisions listed in Article 1, item (ii) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act Partially Amending the National Pension Act, etc. for the Improvement of the Operation of National Pension Programs, etc. (referred to as the "2007 Amendment of the National Pension Act, etc." in the following Article) (February 1, 2008); provided, however, that the provisions of the following Article come into effect as of the date of promulgation.

The procedures for designation under Article 92-2-2, paragraph (1) of the National Pension Act as amended by the 2007 Amendment of the National Pension Act, etc. may be carried out even before the date of enforcement of the provisions listed in Article 1, item (ii) of the Supplementary Provisions of the 2007 Amendment of the National Pension Act, etc.
国民年金法等改正法による改正後の国民年金法第九十二条の二の二第一項の規定による指定の手続は、国民年金法等改正法附則第一条第二号に掲げる規定の施行の日前においても行うことができる。
