Supplementary Provisions

This Cabinet Order comes into effect on April 1, 1986.

①For the calculation of the amount of the basic pension contribution relating to each employees' pension insurer in the fiscal years listed in the following items, the number relating to each employees' pension insurer provided for in Article 11-2, item (ii) of the Order for Enforcement of the National Pension Act as amended by Article 1 (hereinafter referred to as the "New Order for Enforcement of the National Pension Act") is, notwithstanding the provisions of that item, the number provided for in the relevant item.

②For the application of the provisions of Article 11-2 of the New Order for Enforcement of the National Pension Act, for the time being, the phrase "premium-paid period" in item (iii) of that Article is deemed to be replaced with "premium-paid period (limited to a period on or after April 1, 1986)".

For the application of the provisions of Article 12, paragraph (1) of the New Order for Enforcement of the National Pension Act, during the period until July 31, 1986, the phrase "benefits under the Act and benefits under the former Act (excluding the old-age welfare pension) for which the person entitled to receive them wishes to receive payment from the Director-General of the Social Insurance Agency" in that paragraph is deemed to be replaced with "old-age pensions and aggregated old-age pensions under the former Act, old-age basic pensions, disability basic pensions (excluding the benefits listed in Article 1, item (ii), (a)) and survivors' basic pensions (excluding the benefits listed in item (ii), (b) of that Article) under the Act, and old-age pensions prescribed in Article 9-3 of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act, for which the person entitled to receive them wishes to receive payment from the Director-General of the Social Insurance Agency, and disability pensions, mother-and-child pensions, quasi-mother-and-child pensions, orphan's pensions and widow's pensions under the former Act, and disability basic pensions (limited to the benefits listed in Article 1, item (ii), (a)), survivors' basic pensions (limited to the benefits listed in item (ii), (b) of that Article), widow's pensions, death lump-sum payments and special lump-sum payments under the Act".
