Article 4-5Amount to Be Added upon Deferral of Payment

①The amount specified by Cabinet Order prescribed in Article 28, paragraph (4) of the Act (including as applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to Article 9-3, paragraph (4) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act) is the amount obtained by multiplying the amount calculated under the provisions of Article 27 of the Act (including where it is governed by those provisions pursuant to Article 9-3, paragraph (2) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act) (where the provisions of Article 17 of the Supplementary Provisions of the 1985 Amendment Act apply, under the provisions of paragraph (1) of that Article) by the increase rate (meaning the rate obtained by multiplying 7/1000 by the number of months from the month containing the day on which the right to receive the pension was acquired to the month preceding the month containing the day on which the request to defer payment of the pension was made (including that request where the request under Article 28, paragraph (1) of the Act is deemed to have been made pursuant to paragraph (5) of that Article) (or 120, where that number of months exceeds 120); the same applies in the following paragraph).
