Article 14-29Special Provisions on Requirements for Payment of the Old-Age Pension for Persons Who Have a Premium Exemption Period, etc. through Special Provisions on Requests, etc. for Specified Reasons and Who Have a Period as a Member of the Former Army Mutual Aid Association, etc.

Where a person (excluding a person prescribed in Article 31, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of the 1985 Amendment Act) for whom the combined period of the following periods is less than 10 years on the day the person reaches 65 years of age comes, on or after that day, to have a premium exemption period by reason of a period having been deemed a specified full exemption period prescribed in Article 9-4-7, paragraph (6) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act under the provisions of that paragraph, to have a period deemed a former premium exemption period (meaning the premium exemption period prescribed in Article 5, paragraph (4) of the former Act; the same applies below) under the provisions of Article 9-4-7, paragraph (6) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act as replaced pursuant to the provisions of Article 9-4-8 of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act, to have a premium-paid period by reason of payment having been made under the provisions of Article 9-4-9, paragraph (3) or Article 9-4-11, paragraph (3) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act, or to have a period deemed a former premium-paid period (meaning the premium-paid period prescribed in Article 5, paragraph (3) of the former Act; the same applies below) under the provisions of Article 9-4-12 of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act, and as a result the combined period of the following periods becomes 10 years or more, the old-age pension under the provisions of Article 9-3, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act is paid to that person (excluding a person prescribed in Article 9, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act and in Article 12, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of the 1985 Amendment Act), the person being deemed to satisfy the requirements for payment of the old-age pension provided for in Article 9-3, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act; provided, however, that this is limited to a case where the combined period of the periods listed in items (i) through (iv) is one year or more, and the person falls under the proviso to Article 26 of the Act.
