Supplementary Provisions, Article 9
第九条
A sales representative for whom a securities company has been registered under the provisions of Article 62, paragraph (1) of the Former Act at the time this Act comes into effect is deemed to have been registered under the provisions of Article 62, paragraph (1) of the New Act.
この法律の施行の際現に旧法第六十二条第一項の規定により証券会社が登録を受けている外務員については、新法第六十二条第一項の規定により登録を受けたものとみなす。

An officer or employee of a financial instruments business operator, etc. who, whatever their title, carries out for it the acts listed in Article 64, paragraph (1), such as soliciting purchases and sales of securities or derivatives transactions; each must be registered in the register of sales representatives.
