Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect as of April 1, 2024; provided, however, that the provisions set forth in the following items come into effect as of the dates specified respectively in those items.
この法律は、令和六年四月一日から施行する。ただし、次の各号に掲げる規定は、当該各号に定める日から施行する。
The provision amending Article 1 of the Act on Mental Health and Welfare for Persons with Mental Disorders or Disabilities (hereinafter referred to as the "Mental Health and Welfare Act") in Article 7, and the provision amending Article 5 of the Mental Health and Welfare Act (limited to the part deleting ", psychopathy"), and the provisions of Article 3, Article 23, and Article 43 of the Supplementary Provisions: the date of promulgation

第四十三条（政令への委任）
Beyond what is provided for in these Supplementary Provisions, transitional measures necessary in connection with the enforcement of this Act (including transitional measures concerning penal provisions) are specified by Cabinet Order.
この附則に規定するもののほか、この法律の施行に伴い必要な経過措置（罰則に関する経過措置を含む。）は、政令で定める。
