Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect as of the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding 1 year from the date of promulgation.
この法律は、公布の日から起算して一年を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日から施行する。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 2Transitional Measures
第二条（経過措置）
With regard to the issuance of a copy of a certificate of residence or a certificate of items stated in resident register relating to a request made under the provisions of Article 12, paragraph (1) or (2) of the Residential Basic Book Act prior to the amendment by this Act, the issuance of a copy of a certificate of residence relating to a request made under the provisions of Article 12-2, paragraph (1) of that Act, or the issuance of a copy of a family register supplement relating to a request made under the provisions of Article 20, paragraph (1) of that Act, before this Act comes into effect, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
この法律の施行前に、この法律による改正前の住民基本台帳法第十二条第一項若しくは第二項の規定によりされた請求に係る住民票の写し若しくは住民票記載事項証明書の交付、同法第十二条の二第一項の規定によりされた請求に係る住民票の写しの交付又は同法第二十条第一項の規定によりされた請求に係る戸籍の附票の写しの交付については、なお従前の例による。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 3
第三条
The provisions then in force continue to govern the application of penal provisions to conduct engaged in before this Act comes into effect and to conduct engaged in after this Act comes into effect in the cases in which prior laws are to continue to govern pursuant to the provisions of the preceding Article.
この法律の施行前にした行為及び前条の規定によりなお従前の例によることとされる場合におけるこの法律の施行後にした行為に対する罰則の適用については、なお従前の例による。
