Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect on January 1, 2008; provided, however, that the provisions listed in the following items come into effect as of the date specified in the relevant item.
この法律は、平成二十年一月一日から施行する。ただし、次の各号に掲げる規定は、それぞれ当該各号に定める日から施行する。
The amending provision renumbering Article 14 as Article 17, and the amending provision adding three Articles after Article 13 (limited to the part pertaining to Article 16), and the provisions of Article 5, Article 7 and Article 8 of the Supplementary Provisions: The date of promulgation
