Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect as of the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding 1 year from the date of promulgation.
この法律は、公布の日から起算して一年を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日から施行する。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 8Coordination Provisions Accompanying the Partial Amendment to the Residential Basic Book Act
第八条（住民基本台帳法の一部改正に伴う調整規定）
Where the Effective Date is before the date on which the Act Partially Amending the Licensed Guide Interpreters Act and the Travel Agency Act (Act No. 50 of 2017; referred to in the following paragraph as the "Licensed Guide Interpreters Act, etc. Amendment Act") comes into effect, the term "in Appended Table 3" in the provisions, among those of the preceding Article, revising row 21-2 of Appended Table 3 of the Residential Basic Book Act to become row 21-3, and adding the following after row 21, is deemed to be replaced with "in Appended Table 3, revising row 21-3 to become row 21-4, and".
In the case referred to in the preceding paragraph, in the provisions, among those of Article 8 of the Supplementary Provisions of the Licensed Guide Interpreters Act, etc. Amendment Act, revising row 21-2 of Appended Table 3 of the Residential Basic Book Act, the term "row 21-2 of that table" is deemed to be replaced with "row 21-3 of that table", and the term "21-2 Prefectural Governor" is deemed to be replaced with "21-3 Prefectural Governor"; and in the provisions deleting row 21-3 and row 26-2 of that table, the term "row 21-3 of Appended Table 3" is deemed to be replaced with "row 21-4 of Appended Table 3".
前項の場合において、通訳案内士法等改正法附則第八条のうち、住民基本台帳法別表第三の二十一の二の項の改正規定中「同表の二十一の二の項」とあるのは「同表の二十一の三の項」と、「二十一の二 都道府県知事」とあるのは「二十一の三 都道府県知事」と、同表の二十一の三の項及び二十六の二の項を削る改正規定中「別表第三の二十一の三の項」とあるのは「別表第三の二十一の四の項」とする。
