附 則
Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect on April 1, 2006; provided, however, that the provisions set forth in the following items come into effect on the dates specified in those items, respectively:
この法律は、平成十八年四月一日から施行する。ただし、次の各号に掲げる規定は、それぞれ当該各号に定める日から施行する。
The provisions of Article 1, Article 5, Article 8, Article 11, Article 13 and Article 15, and of Article 4, Article 15, Article 22, Article 23, paragraph (2), Article 32, Article 39 and Article 56 of the Supplementary Provisions: the date of promulgation;
第一条、第五条、第八条、第十一条、第十三条及び第十五条並びに附則第四条、第十五条、第二十二条、第二十三条第二項、第三十二条、第三十九条及び第五十六条の規定 公布の日

Supplementary Provisions, Article 55Transitional Measures Concerning Penal Provisions
第五十五条（罰則に関する経過措置）
With regard to the application of penal provisions to acts committed before this Act comes into effect, and to acts committed after this Act comes into effect in cases where the provisions then in force continue to govern pursuant to Article 9 of the Supplementary Provisions, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
この法律の施行前にした行為及び附則第九条の規定によりなお従前の例によることとされる場合におけるこの法律の施行後にした行為に対する罰則の適用については、なお従前の例による。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 56Delegation of Other Transitional Measures to Cabinet Order
第五十六条（その他の経過措置の政令への委任）
Beyond what is provided for in Article 3 through Article 27, Article 36 and Article 37 of the Supplementary Provisions, the transitional measures necessary incidental to the enforcement of this Act (including transitional measures concerning penal provisions) are specified by Cabinet Order.
附則第三条から第二十七条まで、第三十六条及び第三十七条に定めるもののほか、この法律の施行に関し必要な経過措置（罰則に関する経過措置を含む。）は、政令で定める。
