Supplementary Provisions, Article 23Transitional Measures for Penal Provisions and Other Provisions
第二十三条（罰則等に関する経過措置）
Prior laws continue to govern the applicability of penal provisions to conduct in which a person engages before Articles 2 through 4 come into force as well as to conduct in which a person engages after this Act comes into force if prior laws are to continue to govern that conduct pursuant to Article 5 and Article 21, paragraph (3) of the Supplementary Provisions or if prior laws remain in force pursuant to Article 21, paragraph (2) of the Supplementary Provisions.
第二条から第四条までの規定の施行前にした行為並びに附則第五条及び第二十一条第三項の規定によりなお従前の例によることとされる場合並びに附則第二十一条第二項の規定によりなおその効力を有することとされる場合におけるこの法律の施行後にした行為に対する罰則の適用については、それぞれなお従前の例による。
