Supplementary Provisions, Article 2Transitional Measures Incidental to the Partial Amendment of the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act by the Provisions of Article 1

With regard to the denial of landing prescribed in Article 5, paragraph (1) of the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act as amended by the provisions of Article 1 for a person who was deported from Japan before this Act comes into effect for falling under any of the items of Article 24 (excluding item (iv), sub-items (l) through (o) and item (iv)-3) of the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act prior to its amendment by the provisions of Article 1, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
