①With regard to the performance of an obligation in the case where the obligation arose before the Effective Date, beyond what is prescribed in the following paragraph, the provisions then in force continue to govern.

②With regard to the appropriation of performance in the case where the performance was made before the Effective Date, notwithstanding the provisions of Articles 488 through 491 of the New Act, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
