附 則
This Act comes into effect as of July 1, 1962.
この法律は、昭和三十七年七月一日から施行する。
The Civil Code as amended by this Act also applies to matters that arose before this Act came into effect; provided, however, that this does not preclude effects that arose under the previous Civil Code.
この法律による改正後の民法は、この法律の施行前に生じた事項にも適用する。ただし、従前の民法によつて生じた効力を妨げない。
