第二十六条（相殺に関する経過措置）
With regard to a manifestation of intention prescribed in Article 505, paragraph (2) of the Former Act that was made before the Effective Date, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
施行日前にされた旧法第五百五条第二項に規定する意思表示については、なお従前の例による。
With regard to a set-off in which a claim that arose before the Effective Date is the passive set-off claim, notwithstanding the provisions of Article 509 of the New Act, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
With regard to a set-off in which a claim that arose on the basis of a cause existing before the Effective Date is the claim used to assert set-off (limited to one in which a claim that has been attached is the passive set-off claim), notwithstanding the provisions of Article 511 of the New Act, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
With regard to the appropriation of a set-off in the case where the manifestation of intention to effect the set-off was made before the Effective Date, notwithstanding the provisions of Articles 512 and 512-2 of the New Act, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
