附 則
This Act comes into effect on the date of promulgation.
この法律は、公布の日から施行する。
With respect to the application of Article 767, paragraph (2) of the Civil Code as amended pursuant to the provisions of Article 1 (including as applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to Articles 749 and 771 of the Civil Code) in the case where a divorce took place or a marriage was cancelled within three months before this Act comes into effect, the phrase "within three months of the day of divorce" in that paragraph is deemed to be replaced with "within three months of the date of enforcement of the Act Partially Amending the Civil Code, etc. (Act No. 66 of 1976)".
この法律の施行前三月以内に離婚し、又は婚姻が取り消された場合における第一条の規定による改正後の民法第七百六十七条第二項（同法第七百四十九条及び第七百七十一条において準用する場合を含む。）の規定の適用については、同項中「離婚の日から三箇月以内」とあるのは、「民法等の一部を改正する法律（昭和五十一年法律第六十六号）の施行の日から三箇月以内」とする。
