Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect as of the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding two years and six months from the date of promulgation; provided, however, that the provisions set forth in the following items come into effect as of the dates specified respectively in those items.
この法律は、公布の日から起算して二年六月を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日から施行する。ただし、次の各号に掲げる規定は、当該各号に定める日から施行する。
the provisions amending Article 891, item (v) of the Civil Code in Article 1, the provisions amending Article 968 of that Act (excluding the amending provisions set forth in the following item), the provisions amending Article 970, paragraph (1) and Article 973 of that Act (excluding the provisions amending paragraph (1) of that Article), the provisions amending Article 974 of that Act, the provisions deleting the heading of Article 976 of that Act and adding a heading before that Article, the provisions amending paragraph (1) of that Article, the provisions adding one Article after that Article, the provisions deleting the heading of Article 979 of that Act and adding a heading before that Article, the provisions amending paragraphs (1) and (3) of that Article, the provisions adding one Article after that Article, and the provisions amending Articles 980 through 982, Article 984, Article 1004 (including the heading), Article 1005 and Article 1024 (including the heading) of that Act, the provisions amending Articles 211 and 212 and Article 214, item (ii) of the Domestic Relations Case Procedure Act in Article 4, the provisions amending items 102 and 103 of Appended Table 1 of that Act, and the provisions of Article 5 of the Supplementary Provisions: the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding one year from the date of promulgation.
第一条中民法第八百九十一条第五号の改正規定、同法第九百六十八条の改正規定（次号に掲げる改正規定を除く。）、同法第九百七十条第一項及び第九百七十三条の改正規定（同条第一項の改正規定を除く。）、同法第九百七十四条の改正規定、同法第九百七十六条の見出しを削り、同条の前に見出しを付する改正規定、同条第一項の改正規定、同条の次に一条を加える改正規定、同法第九百七十九条の見出しを削り、同条の前に見出しを付する改正規定、同条第一項及び第三項の改正規定、同条の次に一条を加える改正規定並びに同法第九百八十条から第九百八十二条まで、第九百八十四条、第千四条（見出しを含む。）、第千五条及び第千二十四条（見出しを含む。）の改正規定並びに第四条中家事事件手続法第二百十一条、第二百十二条及び第二百十四条第二号の改正規定並びに同法別表第一の百二の項及び百三の項の改正規定並びに附則第五条の規定 公布の日から起算して一年を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日
the provisions amending Article 967 of the Civil Code in Article 1, the provisions amending Article 968, paragraph (2) of that Act (limited to the part adding "; the same applies in Article 968-3, paragraph (2)" after "including") and the provisions adding two Articles after that Article, and the provisions of Article 5: the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding three years from the date of promulgation.

第九条（政令への委任）
Beyond what is provided for in these Supplementary Provisions, transitional measures necessary for the enforcement of this Act are specified by Cabinet Order.
この附則に定めるもののほか、この法律の施行に関し必要な経過措置は、政令で定める。
