第八条
With regard to the application of the provisions of Article 3 through Article 5 of the Supplementary Provisions to a designated city set forth in Article 252-19, paragraph (1) of the Local Autonomy Act (Act No. 67 of 1947), a ward is deemed to be a city, and the head of a ward is deemed to be the mayor.
