An application for issuance of a certificate of eligibility, an application for permission for a change of status of residence or an application for permission for extension of the period of stay that has actually been filed at the time this Ministerial Order comes into effect using a form prescribed in the Regulation for Enforcement of the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act prior to the amendment by this Ministerial Order (referred to as "the former Regulation" in the following Article) is deemed, except in cases where the provisions of paragraph (1) of the preceding Article apply, to be an application for issuance of a certificate of eligibility, an application for permission for a change of status of residence or an application for permission for extension of the period of stay, respectively, using a form prescribed in the new Regulation.
