Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect as of the day specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding one year from the date of promulgation; provided, however, that the provisions set forth in the following items come into effect as of the days specified in those items.
この法律は、公布の日から起算して一年を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日から施行する。ただし、次の各号に掲げる規定は、当該各号に定める日から施行する。
the provisions of Article 18 of the Supplementary Provisions: the date of promulgation;
附則第十八条の規定 公布の日
the provisions in Article 1 amending Article 2, paragraph (8), item (x), (a) and Article 30, paragraph (1) of the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act, the provision amending Article 31 of that Act by adding one paragraph, the provision amending Article 201, item (i) of that Act and the provision amending Article 205-2-3, item (i) of that Act (limited to the part replacing "Article 31, paragraph (1) or (3)" with "Article 31, paragraph (1), (3) or (7)"), and the provisions of Article 17 of the Supplementary Provisions: the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding six months from the date of promulgation;
第一条中金融商品取引法第二条第八項第十号イ及び第三十条第一項の改正規定、同法第三十一条に一項を加える改正規定、同法第二百一条第一号の改正規定並びに同法第二百五条の二の三第一号の改正規定（「第三十一条第一項若しくは第三項」を「第三十一条第一項、第三項若しくは第七項」に改める部分に限る。）並びに附則第十七条の規定 公布の日から起算して六月を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日
Supplementary Provisions, Article 17Transitional Measures Concerning Penal Provisions
第十七条（罰則に関する経過措置）
With regard to the application of penal provisions to acts committed before this Act (or, for the provisions set forth in Article 1, items (ii) and (iii) of the Supplementary Provisions, those provisions) comes into effect, and to acts committed on or after the Item (iii) Effective Date in the cases where the provisions then in force continue to govern pursuant to the provisions of Articles 3, 4 and 6 of the Supplementary Provisions, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
この法律（附則第一条第二号及び第三号に掲げる規定にあっては、当該規定）の施行前にした行為並びに附則第三条、第四条及び第六条の規定によりなお従前の例によることとされる場合における第三号施行日以後にした行為に対する罰則の適用については、なお従前の例による。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 18Delegation to Cabinet Order
第十八条（政令への委任）
Beyond what is provided for in these Supplementary Provisions, transitional measures necessary for the enforcement of this Act (including transitional measures concerning penal provisions) are specified by Cabinet Order.
この附則に規定するもののほか、この法律の施行に関し必要な経過措置（罰則に関する経過措置を含む。）は、政令で定める。
