Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect as of the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding 2 years from the date of promulgation; provided, however, that the provisions set forth in the following items come into effect as of the dates specified respectively in those items.
この法律は、公布の日から起算して二年を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日から施行する。ただし、次の各号に掲げる規定は、当該各号に定める日から施行する。
The provision in Article 2 revising Article 131, paragraph (5) of the Real Property Registration Act, and the provisions of Article 34 of the Supplementary Provisions: the date of promulgation
第二条中不動産登記法第百三十一条第五項の改正規定及び附則第三十四条の規定 公布の日
The provision in Article 2 revising the table of contents of the Real Property Registration Act, the provision revising Article 16, paragraph (2) of the same Act, the provision in Chapter IV, Section 3, Subsection 2 of the same Act adding one Article before Article 74, the provision adding five Articles after Article 76 of the same Act (limited to the part pertaining to Article 76-2 and Article 76-3), the provision revising Article 119 of the same Act, and the provision revising Article 164 of the same Act (excluding the part adding one paragraph to that Article), and the provisions of Article 5, paragraphs (4) through (6), Article 6, Article 22 and Article 23 of the Supplementary Provisions: the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding three years from the date of promulgation
第二条中不動産登記法の目次の改正規定、同法第十六条第二項の改正規定、同法第四章第三節第二款中第七十四条の前に一条を加える改正規定、同法第七十六条の次に五条を加える改正規定（第七十六条の二及び第七十六条の三に係る部分に限る。）、同法第百十九条の改正規定及び同法第百六十四条の改正規定（同条に一項を加える部分を除く。）並びに附則第五条第四項から第六項まで、第六条、第二十二条及び第二十三条の規定 公布の日から起算して三年を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日
Supplementary Provisions, Article 23Transitional Measures Accompanying the Partial Revision of the Residential Basic Book Act
第二十三条（住民基本台帳法の一部改正に伴う経過措置）
With regard to the application of the provisions of row 31 of Appended Table 1 of the Residential Basic Book Act, as revised under the provisions of the preceding Article, during the period from the item (ii) effective date until the day preceding the item (iii) effective date, the term "registration, indication of a symbol under Article 76-4 of the same Act" in that row is deemed to be replaced with "registration".
第二号施行日から第三号施行日の前日までの間における前条の規定による改正後の住民基本台帳法別表第一の三十一の項の規定の適用については、同項中「登記、同法第七十六条の四の符号の表示」とあるのは、「登記」とする。

第三十四条（その他の経過措置の政令等への委任）
Beyond what is provided for in these Supplementary Provisions, transitional measures necessary for the enforcement of this Act are specified by Cabinet Order.
この附則に定めるもののほか、この法律の施行に関し必要な経過措置は、政令で定める。
