Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date

一the provision in Article 1 adding one paragraph to Article 52 of the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act, the provision in Article 1 amending Article 59-2, paragraph (1) of the same Act, and the provisions of Article 6 of the Supplementary Provisions: the date of promulgation;

二the provisions in Article 1 amending the table of contents and the proviso to Article 6, paragraph (1) of the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act, the provision adding one Article after Article 14 of the same Act, the provisions amending Article 15, paragraph (6), Article 23, paragraph (1) and Article 24 of the same Act, the provision adding one Article after Article 26-2 in Chapter IV, Section 4 of the same Act, and the provisions amending Article 57, Article 59, paragraph (1), Article 61-2-4, paragraph (1), item (ii), Article 70, paragraph (1), Article 72, Article 73-2, paragraph (2), item (iii), Article 77, item (ii) and the row for "Student" in Appended Table I (4) of the same Act; the provisions of Articles 4 and 7 of the Supplementary Provisions; and the provision in Article 8 of the Supplementary Provisions amending the row for the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act (Cabinet Order No. 319 of 1951) in the Appended Table of the Act on Use of Information and Communications Technology in Administrative Procedures, etc. (Act No. 151 of 2002) by adding ", Article 14-2, paragraph (4)" after "and paragraph (6)": January 1, 2015;

三the provisions of Article 2 and the provisions of Article 8 of the Supplementary Provisions (excluding the amending provision set forth in the preceding item): the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding 2 years and 6 months from the date of promulgation.
