Supplementary Provisions, Article 3Transitional Measures Concerning Marriage
第三条（婚姻に関する経過措置）
With regard to the cancellation of a marriage made before the Effective Date (limited to one on the ground that the woman had not attained the marriageable age), notwithstanding the provisions of Articles 731 and 745 of the New Act, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
A woman aged 16 or more and less than 18 at the time of the enforcement of this Act may marry, notwithstanding the provisions of Article 731 of the New Act.
この法律の施行の際に十六歳以上十八歳未満の女は、新法第七百三十一条の規定にかかわらず、婚姻をすることができる。
With regard to a marriage pursuant to the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the provisions of Article 737, Article 740 (including as applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to Article 741 of the Former Act), and Article 753 of the Former Act remain in force.
前項の規定による婚姻については、旧法第七百三十七条、第七百四十条（旧法第七百四十一条において準用する場合を含む。）及び第七百五十三条の規定は、なおその効力を有する。
