次の各号のいずれかに該当する者は、一年以下の拘禁刑又は二十万円以下の罰金に処する。
A person who falls under any of the following items is punished with imprisonment for not more than 1 year or a fine not exceeding 200,000 yen:
第二十三条第二項の規定に違反して在留カードを受領しなかつた者
a person who does not receive a residence card in violation of the provisions of Article 23, paragraph (2); or
第二十三条第三項の規定に違反して、在留カードの提示を拒み、又は在留カード電磁的記録の内容を確認するために必要な措置を受けることを拒んだ者
a person who refuses to present a residence card, or refuses to undergo the measures necessary to confirm the content of the residence card electronic or magnetic record, in violation of the provisions of Article 23, paragraph (3).
