行使の目的で、在留カード又は在留カードとして表示されて行使されることとなる在留カード電磁的記録（次項及び第三項において「在留カード等」という。）を偽造し、又は変造した者は、一年以上十年以下の拘禁刑に処する。
A person who forges or alters a residence card, or a residence card electronic or magnetic record that is to be displayed and used as a residence card (referred to as a "residence card, etc." in the following paragraph and paragraph (3)), for the purpose of uttering is punished with imprisonment for not less than 1 year but not more than 10 years.
The preceding paragraph also applies to a person who uses a forged or altered residence card, etc.
Paragraph (1) also applies to a person who provides or receives a forged or altered residence card, etc. for the purpose of uttering.
人の事務処理を誤らせる目的で、在留カード電磁的記録を不正に作つた者も、第一項と同様とする。
Paragraph (1) also applies to a person who unlawfully creates a residence card electronic or magnetic record for the purpose of causing another person to err in the processing of their affairs.
不正に作られた在留カード電磁的記録を、前項の目的で、人の事務処理の用に供した者も、第一項と同様とする。
Paragraph (1) also applies to a person who, for the purpose set forth in the preceding paragraph, puts an unlawfully created residence card electronic or magnetic record to use in the processing of another person's affairs.
不正に作られた在留カード電磁的記録が記録された在留カードを、第四項の目的で、提供し、又は収受した者も、第一項と同様とする。
Paragraph (1) also applies to a person who, for the purpose set forth in paragraph (4), provides or receives a residence card on which an unlawfully created residence card electronic or magnetic record is recorded.
前各項の罪の未遂は、罰する。
An attempt to commit the crimes referred to in the preceding paragraphs is punishable.
