被収容者が死亡した場合において、その死体の埋葬又は火葬を行う者がないときは、墓地、埋葬等に関する法律（昭和二十三年法律第四十八号）第九条の規定にかかわらず、その埋葬又は火葬は、入国者収容所長等が行うものとする。
If a detainee dies and there is no person to carry out the burial or cremation of the body, the burial or cremation is to be carried out by the director of the immigration detention center, etc., notwithstanding the provisions of Article 9 of the Act on Graveyards, Burial, etc. (Act No. 48 of 1948).
Beyond what is provided for in the preceding paragraph, measures concerning the body of a detainee are provided for by Ministry of Justice Order.
