Article 38-5Disasters Specified by Order of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare under Article 24-2, Paragraph (1), Item (iii) of the Act
The disasters specified by Order of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare under Article 24-2, paragraph (1), item (iii) of the Act are as follows:
法第二十四条の二第一項第三号の厚生労働省令で定める災害は、次のとおりとする。
a disaster designated by Cabinet Order as a disaster of extreme severity under Article 2 of the Act on Special Financial Support to Deal with the Designated Disaster of Extreme Severity (Act No. 150 of 1962);
激甚災害に対処するための特別の財政援助等に関する法律（昭和三十七年法律第百五十号）第二条の規定により激甚災害として政令で指定された災害
a disaster in respect of which relief was provided under the Disaster Relief Act (Act No. 118 of 1947);
災害救助法（昭和二十二年法律第百十八号）に基づく救助が行われた災害
a disaster specified by the Director-General of the Employment Security Bureau as equivalent to the disaster listed in the preceding item.
