Supplementary Provisions, Article 6Transitional Measures Concerning Carrying, etc. of Written Permission for Provisional Release, etc.

The provisions of Article 23, paragraph (1) (limited to the parts pertaining to items (x) and (xi)) and paragraph (3) (limited to the parts pertaining to the special release permit prescribed in paragraph (1), item (x) of the same Article and the written permission for provisional release prescribed in item (xi) of the same paragraph, which are included in the passport prescribed in paragraph (3)) of the Immigration Control Act as Amended by Article 2 apply to a person who is released pursuant to the provisions of Article 52, paragraph (10) of the Immigration Control Act as Amended by Article 2 or provisionally released pursuant to the provisions of Article 54, paragraph (2) of the Immigration Control Act as Amended by Article 2 on or after the Effective Date, and with regard to the carrying and presentation of the passport, crew member's pocket-ledger, registered user card or permit of a person released pursuant to the provisions of Article 52, paragraph (6) of the Immigration Control Act Prior to Amendment by Article 2 or a person provisionally released pursuant to the provisions of Article 54, paragraph (2) of the Immigration Control Act Prior to Amendment by Article 2 before the Effective Date, and of a person provisionally released on or after the Effective Date under the provisions then in force pursuant to the provisions of Article 9, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
