①The Commissioner of the Immigration Services Agency is to conduct the necessary investigation concerning a request for examination ex officio.

②If it is necessary for the investigation set forth in the preceding paragraph, the Commissioner of the Immigration Services Agency may order the director of the immigration detention center, etc. to submit reports or materials or other objects, or have an official designated by the Commissioner question the person who filed the request for examination or other relevant persons or request them to submit objects, retain the objects submitted by those persons, or conduct an inspection.
