①The director of the immigration detention center, etc. may, when finding it appropriate, permit a detainee to communicate by telephone or by other means of telecommunication specified by Cabinet Order.

②The provisions of Article 55-63 apply mutatis mutandis to the communication set forth in the preceding paragraph.
