①The monthly amount of standardized remuneration for each month of the former National Public Servants Mutual Aid Association member period (excluding a period added to the former National Public Servants Mutual Aid Association member period pursuant to the provisions of Article 32, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of the 1985 National Public Officers Mutual Aid Amendment Act) under the pre-amendment National Public Officers Mutual Aid Association Act (for a period before April 1, 1986, the amount calculated following the example of the provisions of Article 9 of the Supplementary Provisions of the 1985 National Public Officers Mutual Aid Amendment Act), the amount obtained by multiplying the amount of salary that served as the standard for contributions under the pre-amendment Local Public Officers, etc. Mutual Aid Association Act for each month of the former Local Public Servants Mutual Aid Association member period (excluding a period added to the former Local Public Servants Mutual Aid Association member period pursuant to the provisions of Article 35, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of the 1985 Local Public Officers Mutual Aid Amendment Act) (for a period before that day, the amount calculated following the example of the provisions of Article 8 of the Supplementary Provisions of the 1985 Local Public Officers Mutual Aid Amendment Act) by the figure specified by Cabinet Order, or the monthly standard salary amount under the pre-amendment Private School Personnel Mutual Aid Association Act for each month of the former Private School Personnel Mutual Aid participant period (for a period before that day, the amount calculated following the example of the provisions of Article 4 of the Supplementary Provisions of the 1985 Private School Mutual Aid Amendment Act) is deemed to be the standardized monthly amount of remuneration under the Employees' Pension Insurance Act for each month of the category II EPI insured period, category III EPI insured period or category IV EPI insured period respectively.

②The standardized amount of year-end allowances, etc. under the pre-amendment National Public Officers Mutual Aid Association Act for the month in which year-end allowances, etc. (meaning the year-end allowances, etc. prescribed in Article 2, paragraph (1), item (vi) of the pre-amendment National Public Officers Mutual Aid Association Act) were received during the former National Public Servants Mutual Aid Association member period, the amount of year-end allowances, etc. that served as the standard for contributions under the pre-amendment Local Public Officers, etc. Mutual Aid Association Act for the month in which year-end allowances, etc. (meaning the year-end allowances, etc. prescribed in Article 2, paragraph (1), item (vi) of the pre-amendment Local Public Officers, etc. Mutual Aid Association Act) were received during the former Local Public Servants Mutual Aid Association member period, or the standard bonus amount under the pre-amendment Private School Personnel Mutual Aid Association Act for the month in which a bonus (meaning the bonus prescribed in Article 21, paragraph (2) of the pre-amendment Private School Personnel Mutual Aid Association Act) was received during the former Private School Personnel Mutual Aid participant period is deemed to be the standardized amount of bonuses under the Employees' Pension Insurance Act for the month in which a bonus (meaning the bonus prescribed in Article 3, paragraph (1), item (iv) of the Employees' Pension Insurance Act) was received during the category II EPI insured period, category III EPI insured period or category IV EPI insured period respectively.
