第二十四条
In the case where a beneficiary of the pension insurance benefits prescribed in Article 87, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of the 1985 National Pension Amendment Act dies on or after the item (iv) Effective Date, if there are pension insurance benefits that should have been paid to the deceased but that had not yet been paid thereto, then, with regard to a request for payment of those unpaid pension insurance benefits, notwithstanding the provisions of that paragraph, the provisions of Article 27-2 of the Mariners Insurance Act before amendment by the provisions of Article 5 of the 1985 National Pension Amendment Act, for which the provisions then in force continue to govern pursuant to the provisions of that paragraph, do not apply, and the provisions of Article 37 of the Employees' Pension Insurance Act as amended by the provisions of Article 3 apply mutatis mutandis.
第四号施行日以後に昭和六十年国民年金等改正法附則第八十七条第一項に規定する年金たる保険給付の受給権者が死亡した場合において、その死亡した者に支給すべき年金たる保険給付でまだその者に支給しなかったものがあるときは、その未支給の年金たる保険給付の支給の請求については、同項の規定にかかわらず、同項の規定によりなお従前の例によるものとされた昭和六十年国民年金等改正法第五条の規定による改正前の船員保険法第二十七条ノ二の規定は適用せず、第三条の規定による改正後の厚生年金保険法第三十七条の規定を準用する。
