Supplementary Provisions, Article 11Transitional Measures Concerning Special Provisions for Insureds and Members during Childcare Leave
第十一条（育児休業期間中の被保険者及び加入員の特例に関する経過措置）
With regard to a person who made an application under the provisions of Article 82-2 of the Employees' Pension Insurance Act prior to the amendment by the provisions of Article 4 before April 1, 2000 and whose childcare leave prescribed in Article 2, item (i) of the Act on Childcare Leave, Caregiver Leave, and Other Measures for the Welfare of Workers Caring for Children or Other Family Members (Act No. 76 of 1991) ended on or after the last day of April 2000, the application under the provisions of Article 81-2 of the Employees' Pension Insurance Act as amended by the provisions of Article 4 (including as applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to Article 89-2, paragraph (5) of that Act) is deemed to have been made on April 1, 2000, and the provisions of Article 81-2 of the Employees' Pension Insurance Act (including as applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to that paragraph) apply to the insurance premiums pertaining to that person for the period on or after April 2000.
平成十二年四月一日前に第四条の規定による改正前の厚生年金保険法第八十二条の二の規定に基づく申出をした者であって、同月末日以後に育児休業、介護休業等育児又は家族介護を行う労働者の福祉に関する法律（平成三年法律第七十六号）第二条第一号に規定する育児休業が終了したものについては、同月一日に、第四条の規定による改正後の厚生年金保険法第八十一条の二（同法第八十九条の二第五項において準用する場合を含む。）の規定に基づく申出があったものとみなして、同月以後の期間のその者に係る保険料について、同法第八十一条の二（同項において準用する場合を含む。）の規定を適用する。
The provisions of the preceding paragraph apply mutatis mutandis to contributions pertaining to members of the Fund and to the amounts collected under the provisions of Article 140, paragraph (1) of the Employees' Pension Insurance Act. In this case, the phrase "Article 82-2" in the preceding paragraph is deemed to be replaced with "Article 139, paragraph (7) or (8)", the phrase "the application under the provisions of Article 81-2 of the Employees' Pension Insurance Act as amended by the provisions of Article 4 (including as applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to Article 89-2, paragraph (5) of that Act)" with "the application prescribed in Article 139, paragraph (7) or (8)", and the phrase "Article 81-2 of the Employees' Pension Insurance Act (including as applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to that paragraph)" with "Article 139, paragraph (7) or (8), or Article 140, paragraph (8) of the Employees' Pension Insurance Act".
