Article 8-4Replacement of Terms for Application of the Special Provisions on Adjustment of Employees' Old-Age Pensions with Basic Allowances, etc. to a Person Who Has Spent Time as an Insured Person in Two or More Categories
With regard to an employees' old-age pension under the provisions of Article 7-3, paragraph (3) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act paid to a person who has spent time as an insured person in two or more categories, where the provisions of Article 7-4 and Article 7-5 of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act are applied pursuant to the provisions of Article 19 of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act, in addition to the provisions of Article 19 of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act, the words listed in the middle column of the following table in the provisions of the Act listed in the left-hand column of the same table are deemed to be replaced with the words listed in the right-hand column of the same table, respectively.

Where the provisions of Article 7-6 of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act are applied to the old-age pension benefit prescribed in Article 7-6, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act (hereinafter referred to as "old-age pension benefit") that a surviving employees' pension fund pays to a person who has spent time as an insured person in two or more categories, in the case where all or part of the category I EPI insured period among the categories of EPI insured period is a period of being a member of an employees' pension fund, and who is a beneficiary of an employees' old-age pension under the provisions of Article 7-3, paragraph (3) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act based on that category I EPI insured period, the words listed in the middle column of the following table in the provisions of Article 7-6 of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act listed in the left-hand column of the same table are deemed to be replaced with the words listed in the right-hand column of the same table, respectively.
