第十条の二（法附則第二十八条の二第一項の規定により被保険者であつた期間とみなされた期間に係る被保険者の種別）
Article 10-2Insured Category for a Period Deemed to Be a Period as an Insured Person Pursuant to Article 28-2, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act
A period deemed, pursuant to Article 28-2, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act, to be a period during which the person was an insured person other than an insured mine worker or a mariner insured under the Act is to be regarded as having been deemed to be a category I EPI insured period.
法附則第二十八条の二第一項の規定により法による坑内員たる被保険者及び船員たる被保険者以外の被保険者であつた期間とみなされた期間は、第一号厚生年金被保険者期間とみなされたものとする。

わかりやすく言うと
厚生年金保険の被保険者のうち、国家公務員共済組合の組合員、地方公務員共済組合の組合員、私立学校教職員共済制度の加入者のどれにも当たらない人（第一号厚生年金被保険者）であった期間のことです（厚生年金保険法第二条の五第一項第一号）。
